DA’PITT, DA’CLOSEDWe take a little break from walking the streets of the Corridor the daily grind and when we get back, we hear that Da’Pitt, one of the Divisadero Corridor’s most photogenic exteriors, is no more.

Over the years, we took many shots out and around Da’Pitt (we’re culling the archives for when it went by other names, like Lilly’s and Brother-in-Law’s Bar-B-Que #2). Notable, we suppose, is that there were never any photos taken inside or of the food.
But it sure did smell good.
R.I.P. Da’Pitt at 705 Divisadero. It was never about the food, really.

We are a sucker for fire hydrant art. Yeah, we know, it’s defacing city property and all that, but you’ve got to admit it’s clever. And not the kind of thing you’d see in the Marina.
